Lismullin Henge, Tara, Ireland

Technically, a post about Tara in Ireland really isn't about WNY, but many a WNYer has Irish roots. I ran across an article on Archaeology Today's website listing it's top 10 Discoveries of 2007. One that caught my eye was about the discovery of an Iron Age ceremonial enclosure (henge) near Tara, the spiritual home of the ancient Irish kings. The site is in danger from a proposed highway.
